Now it doesnt even let me read the article on the app, it opens it up in my browser causing more wait time and using up more data. Definitely starting to look for a new news app - anything will be better than this

I was wondering why there were two ottawa citizen apps. I realize its because this one is terrible. I have to do this weird scroll by paragraph to read article. Who ever came up with this bad idea never used an app before.

Great app, does exactly as it was designed to do. Dont be misguided by the low ratings, they clearly did not read what the intention of the app is. For example, dont give an apple 1 star because its not an orange.

I would be most grateful if this Application was updated to work with voiceover until it can be accessed by all unfortunately it has to get a low rating

The articles in this app seem to be written by a pair of dim witted girls in their 1st year of university, testing content for their blog. The writing and content is nauseating, not funny and uninformative. Why cant this app just have the articles from the actual newspaper that are written by actual journalists that provide actual news? Total fail here, please fix this, its embarrassing for the paper and the city of Ottawa. Deleted.

Tone is low brow and the content is extremely minimal. To make matters worse the app is clunky, pictures dont load properly. Compared to other media apps this is the worst.

The app is better now that scrolling works properly, but theres a bug that has to be fixed to make it usable. If you start to drag on an ad to scroll the page, it often opens the ad in the browser. This is so annoying that I wont use the app until this is fixed.

Daily notification updates are inconsistent. Some days they arrive. Some days they dont.

Dont bother. Get another major news app because youll be fighting with useless pop-up adds all the time. Why not embed those ads in your articles?? The writing is often littered grammatical and spelling errors, and there is usually very limited depth to the stories. Editing is awful. Not to mention the articles often have a very unprofessional and unbecoming tone to them. Dont insult my intelligence! This app is clearly an afterthought. Ill stick to the major news outlets for their professionalism and their desire to excel.

Pop up ads everywhere! Design makes it almost impossible to avoid pop-ups when scrolling! Looks like they designed it to make money vs informing readers!
